About the Nammyong Studies System for Old Material
The Department of Archives and Special Collection, Moon Cheon Gak, has now started to digitalize various kinds of old materials as part of a nationwide data base digitalization project supported by the Ministry of Public Administration and Security. The aim is to promote the history and culture of Western Gyeongsang. The digitalized materials include collections of Confucian scholars' writings, documents, exhibition of important old books, and engraved wood blocks.
Using the Nammyong Studies System for Old Materials
The data base uses high resolution color imaging and replicates the experience of looking at the authentic document
You can search the data base by using advanced search terms such as family name, last name, adult
name, nom de plume, ancestral home, residential place, and birth date and year.
Original images allow you to check or compare whether there are any missing letters or misprints in
modern versions.
